NEWFOUNDLAND
THE ROCK........
The Land of the Free and the NEWFIES
If you were to look closely at a map of Newfoundland, you will
read the history of this hauntingly beautiful land and the
character of it's people through it's place names.
Jerry's Nose, Ha Ha Bay, Bad Bay, and Misery Point reveal
Newfoundlander's humor and the hardships they have faced in
their long history as inhabitants of a strikingly
rugged and lovely province.
From Newfoundland's past beauty of the oldest surviving lighthouse
that has stood for 16 decades, to St. John's Water Street, the
oldest street in North America, to it's present beauty of it's
National Parks. Where else can you experience the old
world and the new, visit the past, present and see the
future all in one day?
Would love to show you so much of this paradise I call home....
so I have provided some links to show what I call
beauty, please feel free.....
